Indian Air Force Sukhoi Su-30MKi
The Su30MKI fleet is definitely the backbone of Indian Air Force and will continue to be so for the coming years. In June 2020. India has decided to order 12 more Su30MKI fighter jets, while HAL has been manufacturing and overhauling these jets since 2004, these Sukhois will be made under the Russian licence. This new order will add to the 272 fighters of the type already ordered by the Indian Air Force.
The Indian Air Force Su30MKi fighters have advanced Israeli avionics and an electronic warfare systems, making them different from the standard Su30. While they all have standard Russian origin R73/77 missiles, the Indian version will now be equipped with the longer-range Astra, the beyond visual range air-to-air missile developed by DRDO.
Introduction of this fighter jet in IAF was dated 27 September 2002. With a max speed of 2.0Mach at high altitude, and a range of 3,000kms (1,600nmi), it is also a deadliest combat jet in close range. So, overall a best fighter aircraft in the fleet of IAF which will serve our nation in maximum possible ways.
